A red wine of strong character

A powerful red wine personality. Fruity and concentrated with velvety-soft tannins and a distinctive varietal character. The Lagrein grapes unfold their full aroma in our RISERVA. It is intensive and powerful, smooth and elegant. The perfect accompaniment to highly flavoured dishes with grilled or roasted dark meat, game dishes, full-flavoured cheese and dark chocolate.

After harvesting the grapes are carefully de-stemmed and fermented. The skin cap is carefully punched down. Extracts and pigments as well as aromatic components are obtained through the contact of the pulp with the fermenting must. After fermentation, the young wine matures for approx. 24 months in small oak barrels.
